Teaching methodology

The training project is characterised by the adoption of innovative ways of learning using ICT, both as a tool to support and complement traditional training, and as a special way of developing training courses. In practice, ICT, in addition to representing the instrument through which to learn, are the subject and the ultimate aim of the training and professional refreshing.

The adoption of innovative ways of learning, such as e-learning, is meeting the growing demand for professional training also, especially in fast-growing sectors in which on-going personal development and growth is required. The possibility of flexible learning without tight space and time constraints meets the training needs of users with different learning styles and the speed of the structural and technological changes.
The teaching model adopted integrates an approach based on structured content and the active support of the teacher with an approach based on collaborative learning focused on the student as an active social agent. The learning environment focuses on the active construction of knowledge and not just on its transmission, it provides opportunities for learning in real contexts and puts the emphasis on discussing cases and issues between peers and with teachers rather than just providing predetermined instructive sequences, it promotes practices and facilitates the collaborative construction of knowledge through forms of social negotiation.
The on-going training model in e-learning mode is a long-term goal with a systemic value geared toward an interactive, participatory, replicable and sustainable process in the long term.
