Gennaro Boggia Gennaro Boggia graduated, with honours, in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in July 1997 and was awarded the qualification of PhD in Electronic Engineering in March 2001 at the Polytechnic of Bari. Since September 2002 he has worked at the Dept. of Electrical Engineering and Information where he currently holds the post of Associate Professor in Telecommunications.
He was a visiting researcher at the TILab in Turin from May-Dec 2009 and at the FTW research centre (Vienna) from Nov-Dec 2007. He is the co-author of more than 100 scientific articles that have appeared in international journals or international conference papers. His scientific interests are related to wireless networks, cellular networks, Information Centric Networking, Internet of Things (IoT), protocols for industrial applications and smart grids, measures on the Internet and evaluation of network performance.
He is currently an Associate Editor for the international journal ACM/Springer Wireless Networks journal.
