The Master's in "Technologies and methods for developing digital infrastructure" will run for one year in total, 1500 hours, corresponding to 60 credits (university training credits). Attendance is compulsory and any absences must be adequately justified.

Attendance will be ascertained by collecting signatures on special registers. To be awarded the qualification, the learner must have achieved at least 80% of the attendance requirement calculated on a monthly basis on total lecture hours. Non-attendance of a number of hours equal to 20% of the hours of the course, calculated on a monthly basis, shall lead to automatic exclusion from attending the remaining part of the course and from the payment of the scholarship.

The training activity is separated into:
a) Classroom training activities;
b) Laboratory training activities;
c) Operational experience with assistance from staff engaged in research and/or development of ict software and/or provision of network services;
d) Private study.

The training, without prejudice to the outcome of the trainee selection procedures, lasting 12 months, will commence in February 2014.

The classroom training activities, delivered in Italian or English, will consist of courses run by Italian and foreign university teachers and researchers/technologists from the GARR Consortium, Research Institutions (INFN, CNR, INAF et al.) and companies. About 720 hours will be devoted to classroom and laboratory training activities.
